The Perfect 3 Days in Dalat
Dalat rewards a slow pace, not a checklist sprint. Three days is the sweet spot: enough for the waterfalls, the mountain and the coffee, without turning your holiday into a to-do list. Here's how we'd spend it — rent a motorbike and it all links up easily.
Day 1 — The city & nearby waterfalls
- Morning: ease in with coffee at a valley-view café, then wander the Central Market and around Xuan Huong Lake in the heart of town.
- Midday: ride out to Datanla Falls — the closest waterfall, with an alpine roller-coaster down to it.
- Afternoon: visit the Crazy House or the old railway station and the mosaic Linh Phuoc Pagoda.
- Evening: the Night Market — grilled rice “pizza”, strawberries and hot soy milk.
Do it the easy way — rent a bike and eat local

Day 2 — Lang Biang & the highlands
- Morning: head to Lang Biang, the mountain that watches over the plateau — a jeep to the viewpoint or a proper hike for the views.

- Afternoon: unwind at Tuyen Lam Lake and the peaceful Truc Lam Zen Monastery (reachable by cable car).
- Evening: a hotpot dinner — Dalat's cool air was made for it.
Day 3 — Coffee, farms & a bigger waterfall
- Morning: a slow coffee morning at the Me Linh coffee garden, overlooking the valley.
- Midday: if you want one more waterfall, make the trip to Pongour Falls (~40 km) — the region's most dramatic, especially in the rainy season.
- Afternoon: back in town for the strawberry farms, the Domaine de Marie church, or just more café time.
